Manchester United registered their 13th consecutive home win following a hard fought 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace.
Erik Ten Haag’s army seemed to be on course for an easy win following Bruno Fernandez’s early strike in 7th minute, but the end part of the affair ensured they fought hard.
After the Portuguese opened the scoring, in-form Marcus Rashford struck his 10th premiership goal, but Crystal Palace were not going down without a fight.
The two-goal lead was halved by Jeffrey Schlupp in the 76th minute. That was after former Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro was shown a red card for strangling Crystal palace’s Will Hughes.
Patrick Viera’s men pushed forward in search for an equaliser, but the Red Devils hang on for the much needed points.
Manchester United’s win lifts them to 3rd place above Newcastle who were held to a 1 all draw by Westham.
