Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has signed a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2026.
This was confirmed by the club on Thursday evening in a statement released on their website.

Ramsdale has been impressive for the Gunners since joining them in 2021. He has already featured in 76 games in all competitions and kept 28 clean sheets.
“It’s a huge amount of pride, it’s something you work for. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been at the club for a month or for four years, you always want to get the next one and push on with the team.” Ramsdale said after putting pen to paper.
“To get it after two years, I’m buzzing. It just means I can concentrate and keep my head down, and hopefully after a few more years I’ll get another one and carry on living the dream at the football club.”
The deal will keep the talented shot-stopper at the Emirates until 2026, with the club having an option to extend his stay by a further 12 months.
Ramsdale started his career at Sheffield United before joining AFC Bournemouth in 2017 as an 18-year old.
The 25-year old is also capped three times with the England National Football Team, and also represented England at Under 18, Under 19, Under 20 and Under 21 levels.
His side, Arsenal currently sit second on the Premier League with 81 points in 36 games, and will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
