AC Milan have officially announced the capture of Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.
Pulisic joins the Italian giants in a four-year deal and becomes the club’s fourth addition of the summer window.
The Rossoneri have reportedly paid €20m plus bonuses for the 24-year old USA international.
“AC Milan is happy to announce the signing of Christian Mate Pulisic from Chelsea FC,” read part of the statement on AC Milan’s official website
“The American winger has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2027, with an option to extend his stay until 30 June 2028.”
Pulisic departs Chelsea after 145 games he played for the west London club, scoring 26 goals including one in the Champions League semi-final clash with Real Madrid before he helped the team win the trophy in 2021.
When he signed for Chelsea from Dortmund in 2019 for €60m, he became the most expensive American in football history.
At Milan, he will don on shirt 11 which was previously won by Zlatan Ibrahamovic, Rivaldo, Carlo Ancelotti and Jean-Pierre Papin.
Milan started their pre-season earlier this week and have three games scheduled already. They will take on Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid in the United States in July and August before the 2023/24 Serie A begins.
