Leandro Trossard came as a second half substitute to earn a point for Arsenal as they drew 2-2 against London rivals Chelsea on Saturday.
Chelsea took an early lead in the 15th minute through a Cole Palmer penalty after William Saliba was adjudged by VAR to have handled the ball inside the box.
The Blues, after their opener ensured their London rivals toiled for not only a goal, but possession too.
They made Arteta’s side look ordinary especially in the midfield! Arsenal Captain Martin Odegaard and Jorginho who was getting a rare start seemed not ready for the derby as Mauricio Pochettino’s boys rightly so, owned the Bridge.
The first half ended with Chelsea-who had, before the international break managed to string together three domestic wins- leading 1-0.
Chelsea’s urge to stop an unbeaten Arsenal this season continued in the second half, and true to the Gunners’ fears, Mykhailo Mudryk extended the Blue’s win with a goal of the season contender.
After a seemingly not dangerous counter attack, the Ukrainian from the left, and far away from the 18-yard box drifted the ball at the right corner after noticing Arsenal goalkeeper, David Raya had moved out of his line.

The Spaniard brought in Takehiro Tomiyasu for Oleksandr Zinchenko, Kai Havertz and Trossard for Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli respectively, but it was the Belgium (who was withdrawn for an injury during the Gunners’ famous win against Man City) that silenced the Stamford Bridge faithful.
From a Bukayo Saka cross, the 28-year-old slotted in the winner in the 84th minute. But that was after Declan Rice had reduced the deficit eight minutes before.
The result means Arsenal remain unbeaten in the league, and they also, after Man City’s win over Brighton, remain second.
Chelsea remain situated 10th in the league.
