The Bundesliga action kicks off on Friday as the two bottom sides, 17th-placed VfB Bochum and Mainz, battle each other. These two teams are separated by just two points and are yet to secure victory this season.
On Saturday, six exciting games are scheduled, including the defending champions Bayern Munich, who will face Darmstadt at the Allianz Arena, aiming to extend their unbeaten start to the season.
Bayern is on a 12-game unbeaten run across all competitions, having won 10 times and scored 39 goals in the process. In the late kickoff, Leipzig will host Cologne at the Red Bulls Arena. Leipzig is currently fifth with 17 points, while Cologne is struggling in 16th with four points.
On Sunday, Leverkusen and Dortmund will seek to maintain their unbeaten starts to the season as they play SC Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt, respectively. Leverkusen has dropped only two points this season and won seven of their last eight league games.
Dortmund is also unbeaten in the league with six victories and two draws this season, sitting just two points below Leverkusen. They will aim to extend this run against Frankfurt, who have lost only one game this season and won four, with four draws.
