Morocco international Hakim Ziyech could finally leave Chelsea this summer after Chelsea reportedly agreed to a deal with Turkish side Galatasaray.
Ziyech has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge amid a huge influx of new players and is now deemed excess to needs at Stamford Bridge.
In June, it was reported that Ziyech was set to join Saudi Arabian Pro League side Al Nassr but the deal didn’t materialize.
This was in addition to another transfer to French Ligue 1 champions Paris St-Germain (PSG) that fell through as well.
As such, the 30-year-old was left out of Chelsea’s USA preseason tour squad and didn’t feature anywhere during the club’s first match of the season against Liverpool last weekend.
He was not given a squad number for Chelsea this season, a clear indication that the club is more than happy to let him go before this summer transfer window closes.
Ziyech has made 107 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions since joining them from Ajax Amsterdam in 2020 for £33.3 million.
He won the Champions League with the Blues in 2021, but he was an unused substitute in that final against Manchester City.
Ziyech is now expected to undergo a medical with Galatasaray in the coming days, and the expectation is that he will pass it.
