Today is the last day of the January transfer window, also known as Deadline Day. There are quite a number of deals still under discussion, as this is one of the busiest days for player agents and scouting officials, but these are the deals that have been confirmed today so far.

Ilya Zabarnyi to Bournemouth

Vitinha to Olympique Marseille

Olympique Marseille have successfully highjacked Southampton’s target Vitinha from Braga. Vitinha has signed for Marseille at a fee of €30 million including add-ons.

Jorginho to Arsenal

No one saw this coming, and some Arsenal fans feel this is a massive downgrade from their now-failed main target Moises Caicedo. Jorginho has signed with Arsenal from Chelsea for £10 million plus £2 million add-ons until June 2024 with an option to extend for a year.

João Cancelo to Bayern Munich

As mentioned yesterday, Bayern Munich have officially unveiled Joao Cancelo from Manchester City today. This is a loan move but with a buy option clause worth €70 million.

Jude Soonsup-Bell to Tottenham

Definitely not an immediate heir for Harry Kane, but Tottenham have secured the signature of young striker Jude Soonsup-Bell from Chelsea, and have tied him to a two-and-a-half-years contract that will run out in June 2025.

Diego Llorente to AS Roma

Jose Mourinho’s Roma are still in contention for Champions League football next season and feel Spanish defender Diego Llorente can help them achieve that. It is a loan deal from Leeds United but has a buy option of €18 million.

Terem Moffi to OGC Nice

The French outfit have completed a loan deal for Nigerian forward Terem Moffi from FC Lorient with an obligation to buy in the summer for €30 million.

As mentioned earlier, many other deals are still being discussed so expect some of them to be confirmed before the deadline at midnight European time, tonight.
