England captain Harry Kane scored on his Bundesliga debut as Bayern Munich started off campaign with a 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen on Friday night.
His goal came in the 74th minute! He was set-up by Alphonse David to slot home for his first Bayern goal since he completed his dream move from English
side Spurs for a reported £100m fee.
But before that, the England captain had earlier set Leroy Sane free for Bayern’s opener.
A few minutes after finding the back of the net, Kane was subbed off by Thomas Tuchel with what looked like a cramp.
In the final minute of the game, substitute Thomas Tuchel set up Sane for the third goal of the game before Mathys Tel completed the scores in injury time for Bayern after Davis set him up.
Kane will now hope for more goals in order to help Bayern win their 12th Bundesliga title and his first major title in career after 19 unfruitful years at Spurs where he scored 280 goals and won no trophy.
He is also trophy less with the England’s National Team since he made his debut in 2015.
Bayern and Kane will face Augsburg in their second match of the German Bundesliga next weekend.
