We are entering the business end of the season and news of the expected return date of Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus to the squad and potentially the starting lineup could not have come at a better timing for an Arsenal fan.
The Brazilian star got injured last year in November while playing for his country in the World Cup in Qatar and has been out of action since then.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been giving updates on his progress, and last week he said the attacker is doing pitch work and his knee was reacting positively.
Now, according to football.london, the 25-year-old is closer to returning than earlier expected. The report says that Jesus could be available for selection just before the international break in March, specifically the match against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on March 19.
The striker will still miss the Europa League matches against Sporting CP and Premier League matches against Everton, Bournemouth, and Fulham.
Arsenal have so far done exceptionally well without Jesus between, and even though they lost a couple of matches in between, Eddie Nketiah has done well upfront to try and fill the void left by the former Man City forward.
Gabriel Jesus had a bright start to his Arsenal career scoring five and assisting seven goals before his injury, and his return is much anticipated by Arsenal fans and teammates and will boost their title charge.
