It’s official, Karim Benzema will leave Real Madrid when his contract expires this month.

“Real Madrid would like to show our gratitude and affection to a player who is already one of our greatest legends.”
The 35-year old joined Madrid in 2009 from Lyon, since then, he has been a mainstay in that Bernabeu team – playing 438 games and scoring 237 goals, the second-highest in the clubs history.
Since he joined the club 14 seasons ago, the current UEFA Ballon’d’Or winner has won a record 25 times for Madrid which include 5 UEFA Champions League, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 4 La Liga titles, 3 King’s Cups and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
Benzema’s next move is rumoured to be in Saudi Arabia where he was offered a two-year contract worth €400 millions, the same deal that was offered to Cristiano Ronaldo in January to join Al Nassr.
