Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash on Saturday night after his team’s Premier League 1-0 win against Burnley
The incident is reported to have occurred after the England star left Manchester United’s training ground. Erik ten Hag’s squad had returned to Carrington by coach after the match with Rashford playing the full 90 minutes at Turf Moor.
According to reports in England, Rashford was driving his £700,000 Rolls Royce when the collision took place with another vehicle, and photos of the aftermath have been shared on social media showing a dent to a car following the crash.
Greater Manchester Police arrived at the scene moments later to carry out investigations on what might have caused the accident.
Rashford was shaken but both he and the other driver escaped unhurt and did not require emergency medical attention.
The Narrow victory over Burnley ended Manchester United’s three-game losing streak where Rashford featured in all but last scored in the 3-1 loss against Arsenal three weeks ago.
Manchester United return to action in midweek against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup. It is yet to be determined if Rashford will be fit, both physically and mentally to play.
