Erik Ten Hag has requested the Manchester United board to act as fast as possible and sign Harry Kane, according to the Mirror.
It is believed that United’s top bosses have endorsed the Idea of acquiring Kane’s services and now Ten Hag wants it done quick. The club is hoping to commence negotiations with Tottenham much earlier before the transfer window opens.
The England forward is on the radar of some other top European clubs including Bayern Munich and Chelsea; the reason Ten Hag wants the negotiations done quick.
Kane is contracted to Spurs until 2024. This makes it the ideal time to do business if they are to profit from his transfer sale. The Mirror claims that around 80 million pounds could be offered to acquire Tottenham’s all-time leading scorer.
The 29-year-old is believed to want to stay in England as he wishes to chase Allan Shearer’s record of the all-time Premier League top scorer with 260 goals.
United’s acquisition of Kane would be a good deal in solving their goal scoring flaws that make them vulnerable as Marcus Rashford is the only main source of goals at the moment. Kane is a proven goal scorer who averages 20 goals every season.
But it should be noted that Kane’s transfer may not be that easy due to the fact that Tottenham have a stand-in head coach. A new manager will be appointed, and his project may require Kane as his talisman.
Without a doubt, Kane remains the club’s dependable source of goals. Tottenham will not be faulted for deciding to stay keep their player. Man United also have Daniel Levy, the Club chairman to content with. He is not so an easy negotiator to deal with as he is well known for his persistence and standing by his decisions.
