Former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has officially moved to Saudi Arabia to join Al Ittihad.
This was confirmed by Saudi Arabia club on Tuesday night in a series of social media posts hailing Kante as the best box-to-box midfielder.
Kante will join Al Ittihad as a free agent at the end of this month when his contract at Chelsea comes to an end.
He has been at Chelsea since 2016 when he joined the Blues from Leicester City. He went on to make 269 appearances for the London side – registering 13 goals and 16 assists.
He also helped the club win the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, Europa League, Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
He will now link up with fellow international team-mate Karim Benzema who departed Real Madrid for the Saudi Arabian club a few weeks ago.
According to reports, the French World Cup winner will earn around €100m per year at the club. Al Ittihad are yet to confirm his contract details.
