Striker Olivier Giroud has signed a new contract with Seria A’s AC Milan.
This was announced by the club on Wednesday evening, just a few hours after the Frenchman helped the San Siro side reach the Champions League semi-final.
The 36-year old has put pen to paper on a one-year deal untill the end of next season
“I’m very proud, very happy – the perfect way to celebrate last night.” Giroud told Sky Sport shortly after the new deal was announced.
Since joining the club in 2021 from Chelsea, Giroud has featured in 76 games for the Rossoneri and scored 27 goals.
He has 13 goals and six assists in 38 gamez this season, including Tuesday’s crucial goal as Milan drew 1-all with Napoli draw to advance to their UCL semis since 2007.
Giroud is also currently France’s all-time top goalscorer with 53 goals in 122 games.
