Chelsea will be seeking to maintain their new found form when they visit Leicester City on Saturday at King Power Stadium
The Blues make this trip in a confident mood following their 1-0 win over Leeds the previous weekend and their progression to the quarter finals of the Champions League after ejecting Dortmund 2-1 on aggregate on Tuesday.
Graham Potter’s team had not seen victory since the 15th of January, but after that hard fought win against Leeds and their triumph in the Champions League, they will be hoping to build on that as they seek to turn things around.
While Chelsea will be looking to continue with their form, Leicester will seek to end their terrible run in the league. The Foxes are on a three successive loss run in the league with their latest being a 1-0 loss to relegation threatened Southampton.
They will hope Chelsea’s away form that reads 10 winless games away from home in all competitions comes to their rescue. But Brendan Rodgers and his side will know that they are winless against Chelsea in their last four matches.
They should also be concerned about their home form against their opponent as they have won only one of their last six home league games against them. Leicester should also be wary as they have gone two games without making a single shot on target for the first time since gaining promotion to top flight in 2014.
Both managers are under scrutiny for the string of disappointing results prompting the respective angry fans to write slogans requesting for departure of their respective managers.
Leicester are currently placed 15th with 24 points while Chelsea are tenth with ten points more.
