Spain will battle Norway on Sunday evening in Oslo aiming to seal their ticket to next year’s European Championship in Germany.
With La Roja sitting second in group A with 12 points garnered in their five games, a win on Sunday would guarantee a top-two group finish for them with two games left to play.
In their last game on Thursday, Spain got their revenge over top-placed Scotland with a 2-0 score line courtesy of Alvaro Morata and Oihan Sancets second half goals.
But, Luis de la Fuente’s side having been horrible from home in the last couple of games. They have won just one of their last four Euro qualifiers away from home, including a 1-1 draw in Norway in October 2019.
They face a Norway side who also seeking to qualify for their first European Championships since 2000. They currently sit third in Group A with 10 points from six games, two points behind Spain who have a game in hand.
Stale Solbakken have won each of their last Euros 2024 qualifiers games, including Wednesday’s 4-0 victory over Cyrus where Erling Haaland netted twice.

Sunday’s game will be the tenth match between the Norwegian and Spanish national teams, with Spain getting the better of their historical head to head, with six wins, two draws and one defeat against the Norwegians.
Norway’s solitary win over Spain across nine previous meetings took place in the group stage of Euro 2000, albeit failing to progress to the knockout rounds that year.
Norway are looking to extend their winning home run to four matches in all competitions for the first time since a streak of seven straight home victories between September 2017 and October 2018.
Spain can afford to drop points against Norway as long as they win both of their remaining two qualifiers against the bottom two nations Georgia and Cyprus.
