English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur has sacked interim manager Cristian Stellini after just four games in charge.
The sack comes just a day after Spuurs got thrashed by Newcastle 6-1 at St. James Park.

“Cristian stepped in at a difficult point in our season and I want to thank him for the professional manner in which he and his coaching staff have conducted themselves during such a challenging time,” said Daniel Levy, Spurs performance chairman.
Under Stellini, Spurs won once, drew once and lost the other two.
He leaves Spurs siting in fifth position on the English Premier League log with 53 points in 32 games. They are now six points behind both Newcastle and Spurs who have played fewer games than the London club.
