Bukayo Saka says Arsenal are going to fight to the end in order to win the English Premier League this season.
The Gunners impressively defeated Newcastle 2-0 on Sunday to narrow the gap on Leaders Manchester City to just one point with three games to end the season.
“We are going to fight to the end,” said Saka. “I am really confident, of course, in the team [to keep this momentum going]. We had a tough last month, but we are back with two wins on the spin.
“We are going to give everything in these last three games and see where that leaves us at the end.
“It was a really high-intensity game [at Newcastle]. We really gave everything from minute one to 96, because we needed to.
“Last year we were challenging for something different, it was the Champions League. We are here this year and we’ve already qualified, so you can say that we’ve progressed as a team.”
Mike Arterta’s side will play tricky Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday before battling Nottingham Forrest and Wolves.
Their rivals, City though, have four game left as they have to go to Everton on Sunday before hosting Chelsea a week later. After that, they will face both Brighton and Brentford to end their season.
Arsenal last won the Premier League in 2004 when they went unbeaten whole season under Arsene Wenger.
They will play in the UEFA Champions League again next season after seven years of absence
