Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag has said he has a plan already in place to stop dangerous Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The Dutch tactician said this during during his prematch press conference ahead of the Spurs game on Thursday in London.
“It is quite clear his impact on the game from spurs,” said the United boss before adding;
” And we have a plan, of course, of that and in the home game we did very well.
“So, yeah, for tomorrow, we need a very good plan as well. You have to defend as a team and he is a clever player, so don’t allow him to come in the situations where he can have a big impact on the game.”
Kane is currently Spurs all-time top scorer with 274 goals in 429. This season, he is the English Premier League second top scorer with 24 goals in 32 games.
He’s scored five league goals against Manchester United, but his only one at home came in the last game at White Hart Lane in 2017.
United currently sit fourth on the EPL log with 59 points in 31 games while Spurs are fifth with 53 points in 32 games.
