” I feel like I’ ve settled in and grown accustomed the the city of Manchester, ” Antony said in the interview.

“They are quite a few Brazilians here, Me and Casemiro are always hanging out, we’re always doing something.

“I’ve settled in the city and I’m loving life here. I hope I can spend a long time here.”

When asked who has helped him most to settle at the club, Antony said it’s Casemiro, Fred, Lisandro Martinez, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot and David De Gea.

“Definitely ( knowing Casemiro, Fred and Martinez helped), and not just those guys, but Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot (have helped) as well.

“Having this support, being able to get advice from them, have them show me around and introduce me to things means a great deal. I’m really happy to have been welcomed in like this by all players here.”

The 23-year old, who joined United from Ajax last summer in a deal rising to €100 million has had a mixed debut season in England. He has featured in 42 goals in all competitions, scoring eight times and assisting his teammates thrice.

Antony began his career at Sao Paulo in 2010 before moving to Ajax in 2020. He is already a Brazilian international as he has so far made 16 appearances for the Selecao and played at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

His side, Manchester United will play Bournemouth next as they hope to seal UEFA Champions league qualification

The Red Devils, who won the Carabao Cup in February are still in contention to win a domestic cup double this season as they will take on Manchester City in the FA Cup this month.
